On Saturday on May 21st there was a regular cross-country cycling marathon "Kirgishany". This time it was held at a new place on the basis of the sanatorium "Zelenyi mys" that is near Novouralsk. It allowed the organizers to provide more comfortable conditions than previous years and attract a record number of participants.
We participate in the marathon not for the first time and after detecting improvement we decided not only to be a sponsor this year. Our factory team FORMAT-Udmurtia has been sent to compete for the highest sports results.
Our racers successfully coped with the task, they were winners in the absolute categories. The best among men was Yevgeny Pechenin. In women category the fastest was Anna Konovalova.
All other members of FORMAT team participated in the marathon became prize-winners in their age categories:
Valeria Pivovarova - 2nd place in the category "Women of 18 -39 years old";
Vladislav Maksimov - 3rd place in the category "Men 18 -29 years old";
Alexey Belokrylov - 3rd place in the category "Men 30 -39 years old".
