From what age engaged in cycling? How did your enthusiasm for cycling begin?

Since the age of 12. The cycling club appeared in our city and the schoolmates began to talk about their devotion to bikes. First, we rode with my friend by ourselves, tried to jump from the border stones and something like that and in the spring of 2004 we helped to build the first ground dual route in Protvino. And then the trend caught on)

Idol in cycling?

No idols, but there are people who inspire me. When I was a child they were Brian Lopez and Cedric - episodes of Disorder and other films impressed. Then Graves, on 4x routes he was like from another planet in comparison with other racers. However now there are many strong BMX racers in Russia.

What races would you like to take part in?

Megalavina. After participating in Cheget in 2008 it doesn’t leave me in peace. As for the main event, there is nothing special: first need to go through several stages of 4x Protour for warming up and then participate in the championship.

What places would you like to visit and what tracks to go?

Fort William. I suppose this is one of the greatest places of the planet and mountain biking is as popular there as hockey in our country. I'd like to experience the atmosphere that reigns there during the World Cup. Besides, I will never get tired of riding in Val di Sole. As for 4x, downhill routes are excellent there.

What helps you to achieve good results?

It is Russian BMX school that develops and doesn’t perish in the wilds of corruption by contrast with other kinds of sports, it actually supports athletes, organizes races, builds tracks and develops children sport. Of course there is room for improvement but I am very pleased to see what we have now.

Of course my parents did much for me. My coach, sponsors. Clubbish set of Protvino. And the most important is our aim. We train in Protvino for getting it.

What was the first competition in your career?

The traditional spring competitions in Protvino

What bike would you like to get?

I would ride a road bike with pleasure.

What are your goals in the nearest future?

Training with BMX bike, participating in races, getting experience without wasting time for cruising races.
