11 series – bikes for real cross country, for one of the most mass cycling competition in the world. The bikes are designed with modern trends in mind. Every year we introduce new technologies, and the champions of Russia and prize-winners of international races in the Cross Country discipline - Format Udmurtia team riders - help us in this.

PURPOSE

Format 1121 and 1122 – bikes for local races. The concept of bikes consists in balancing competitive technologies with everyday reliability. The synergy of manufacturability and reliability makes it possible to use the bike for daily training and allows winning the races. Bikes are fully adapted to the new standards for cross country tracks.

FRAME AND DESIGN FEATURES

The frames are designed to meet Boost up-to-date standards, which increases the strength and rigidity of the rear wheel and also increases mud clearances.

FORK

The bikes are fitted with 15x110mm Rock Shox air forks. The older model Format 1121 is completed with the Reba RL 29" fork with OneLoc outboard lock. The newer model is assembled on a Judy Silver TK 29” fork. Both forks have preloading and rebounding adjustments.

 

TRANSMISSION

The older model is fully assembled on the SRAM NX drivetrain. The rider has 12 speeds at his disposal. The front narrow wide sprocket with 34 teeth and cassette with a range of sprockets from 11 to 50 teeth.

Format 1122 with an updated Shimano Deore m5100 drivetrain. The rider has 11 speeds at his disposal. The front narrow wide sprocket with 34 teeth and cassette with a range of sprockets from 11 to 51 teeth.

WHEELS

Both models are equipped with 29-inch wheels on rigid eyelet rims Weinman. The wheels are ready to be used tubeless, and the bikes are supplied with special valves. Standard front bushing - 15x110mm, standard rear bushing - 12x148mm.

As always, we use Novatec bushings on commercial bearings on Format 1121. This is an ideal time-tested solution.

The newer model is equipped with Format bushings on commercial bearings. This is a special development of our Asian partners.

BRAKES

Both bikes are equipped with SRAM Level T professional brakes. The brakes have a large range of settings, have excellent modulation, and generally, they can stop the bike in an instant.

IN ADDITION

Format 1121 is completed with a dropper, which allows changing instantly the height of the saddle at the request of the rider. It is really one of the best engineering developments in recent years.

Both bikes are equipped with Format XC Race saddles with racing anatomy and CrMo frames. Bikes are completed with comfortable grips that perfectly dampen small vibrations. Contact with the bike is important, and the cyclist should enjoy the ride.

We pay attention to the little things. For example, we only use metal cable ends. Such a solution increases the service life of the cable routing.

We minimize the number of bolt standards to keep the tooling to a minimum.

All bikes of the 11 series are assembled at the manual assembly department. The entire assembly process is supervised by one foreman, according to the standards we have developed. This is why our bicycles always have the correct cable routing length, the correct handlebar height and even spoke tension.

Today we have two sports bikes prepared for tough conditions and loads, with low weight, excellent roll and high torsion rigidity.
